Words + Music is our infamous open mic night where you can come perform to a warm audience in a safe space that’s open to all genres and art forms including spoken word, comedy, monologues, new writing, originals, a Capella etc.

Words + Music recently made a strong comeback to our programming timetable after welcoming a handful of new local artists to our space, through our Get Creative Festival of May 2023. The evening welcomed artists, musicians and writers of Thurrock to come together and present their art form in our beautifully lit studio, to a warmly welcoming audience.
All genres of music and all art forms are welcome: spoken word, comedy, monologues, new writing, originals, instrumentals, a Capella etc.
Dates are released through out the year, some marking important occasions to start conversations but, all are welcome to kick-start and develop the arts and culture scene here in Thurrock. So, come along and celebrate what Thurrock has to offer and be a part of it!
