Come and watch the iconic, award winning British film, Pride on Thursday 7th June at 7.30pm at Thameside Theatre Foyer.

Based on an extraordinary true story, the film is written by Stephen Beresford and follows a group of gay and lesbian activists during the 1980’s who raised money to help families affected by the British miners strike in 1984. It’s a story of class and sexuality intersecting and two communities coming together during a time when division was present and the solidarity was needed.

Pride is an important, moving and uplifting film which marks a really significant moment in recent LGBT history.
