We are partnering up with fellow Thames Estuary Borough, Gravesham on the other side of the river and working in partnership with Gravesham Light Festival for their 2024 Light-Up event, REFLECTIONS.

27th of January, come along to the Tilbury Cruise Terminal from 4:30pm for free lantern making with Arts Outburst and a light installation from professional creative, Connor Turansky. With the help of CMPM we will be lighting up Tilbury Bridge and all of the amazing work of EVEWRIGHT on the Walkway of Memories.
Spend some time with the team and then ferry across the river to #VisitGravesend for a free evening at Gravesham’s Light Festival, REFLECTIONS. Performances, Light Features, Music – a wonderful sensory experience throughout Gravesend town, a short walk from the ferry landing dock.

Arts Outburst will be present at the Tilbury Cruise Terminal from 4:30pm – 7:30pm with free Lantern Making to take part in, and light features to see. Gravesham’s Light Festival will be running between 5:30pm – 8:30pm.

REMEMBER to check the ferry times when heading over. The last ferry returning to Tilbury is 7pm.

For Light Up Thurrock this is a nice warm-up evening, and the REAL party for this side of the river, will be our Finale Event happening in Grays on March 8th. Individuals, community groups, schools and organisations all getting involved and representing in our Lantern Parade, walking through Grays Town towards Grays Town Park for the rest of the evening where performers, music, light installations and art will all be waiting for us to enjoy for a great Light-Up evening for the community of Thurrock.
