Get Creative in the Park brings together the very best of Thurrock’s vibrant arts scene in one
joyful, jam-packed finale event – and you’re invited.

What’s On:

● Live Stage – Enjoy an exciting lineup of local musicians, performers, and community acts bringing the park to life with music, energy, and local pride.

● Casson & Friends: ARCADE – ARCADE is an interactive performance with dance ‘games’, that animate public spaces – encouraging playful participation to connect people of all ages with the childlike joy of play – and each other! Each performance ‘set’ lasts approximately 30 minutes and contains six unique games – each announced by The Gamesmaster. 

● Ukulele Apothecary – Unexpected, uplifting musical moments popping up throughout
the day.

● The Dragons by An Act Above – Get ready to meet four larger-than-life, excitable Dragons as they bring a burst of colour, carnival energy, and cheeky charm to the park. Inspired by Antoni Gaudí’s El Drac in Barcelona, these vibrant walkabout creatures veer between sculptural stillness and high-energy prancing. One moment they’re tousling your hair with their talons, the next they’re leaping like lizards from one spot to another – with a suspicious interest in your pockets, bags, or even your sandwiches. Beautifully crafted and full of character, these roaming Dragons are guaranteed to surprise and delight audiences of all ages.

● Arts & Crafts Workshops – Get hands-on with local artists and take home your own
creative masterpiece.

● Infinity Circus – Dazzling skills, playful spectacle, and a chance to try some circus fun
for yourself.

● Sounds Like Thurrock – In the park for the very first time, this curated audio
experience celebrates the voices, sounds, and stories of our borough.
