We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the Young Dancer’s Company, the latest creative opportunity from our Make Some Noise programme – and we’re on the lookout for the most exciting young dance talent right here in Thurrock!

Following the huge success of our Young Actors Company, we’re now opening the doors to dancers aged 15–21 who are ready to take their passion to the next level. Whether you’ve trained for years or are just discovering your love for movement, this is your chance to perform, create, and grow in a supportive and inspiring environment.

• Training in a wide range of dance styles
• The chance to develop and perform original work
• Opportunities to perform and compete across the country
• Regular sessions with our exceptional choreographer, Lewis Sharp

Meet Lewis Sharp

We’re proud to welcome Lewis Sharp as the choreographer for the Young Dancer’s Company. Lewis is a London-based artist and a graduate of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where he also completed an MFA in Dance Performance. He has danced with Transitions Dance Company and brings professional experience working with world-renowned companies such as The Royal Ballet Company and Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures.

With choreography credits that include international opera festivals and a deep commitment to community and youth engagement, Lewis brings passion, skill, and inspiration to every rehearsal.
