Marcia Carr

Marcia Carr is a highly experienced performer, vocal coach, and theatre-maker. She trained at Royal Holloway (University of London) and is a qualified Feldenkrais Practitioner specialising in ‘tuning bodies’ for performance. Marcia is an Examiner and former Deputy Chief Examiner for LAMDA and an Associate Artist with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain.

As a performer, Marcia has toured nationally and internationally, winning and being nominated for several awards including Best Fringe Performer (Manchester Evening Standard) and Best Actor (Buxton Festival). Her directing and coaching credits span theatres and universities across the UK and internationally, with highlights including vocal coaching for NYT’s REP seasons, Chichester Festival Theatre, and directing at UWL’s London College of Music.

Marcia is also an accomplished academic and practitioner, delivering workshops, lectures, and masterclasses at institutions such as East 15, Central School of Speech and Drama, Goldsmiths, and international schools. She has published a chapter on Feldenkrais practice with Bloomsbury Press. Her work reflects a deep commitment to nurturing talent and advancing creative performance practice.
