Join Arts Outburst at Get Creative in the Park for the very first look at what’s coming this summer. This is your chance to meet the team, find out about upcoming projects and activities, and collect your copy of the new What’s On Brochure before anyone else.
What’s Inside the Brochure?
The Summer 2026 programme is one of Arts Outburst’s most ambitious yet, celebrating the power of the arts to inspire confidence, support wellbeing and create opportunities for people of all ages. Highlights include:
Youth Programmes: Make Some Noise, Youth Club, NSC Film & Media Club and the returning Urban Motion — a dynamic youth-led programme bringing together parkour, hip hop, graffiti, lyric writing, BMX and DJing.
Artist Development: Thurrock CAN continues to grow as a supportive network for creatives, alongside Creative Clicks, supporting workless and underemployed creatives to build their digital skills and practice.
Creative Health & Wellbeing: Bloom & Bond for parents and families, Breathe Easy for healthier lifestyles, and Feel Good & Move — offering free Zumba, Pilates, Family Fiestas and accessible movement sessions all summer long.
Holiday Activities: Essex ActivAte HAF returns with free creative and wellbeing-focused holiday provision for children and young people in Grays & Chadwell.
Community Events: Arts Outburst will be present at Big Lunch events across Thurrock, Positive Well-Being Day, Horndon Feast & Fayre, Southend Feel Good Festival, the Orsett Show and Barking Carnival.
Christmas Sneak Peek: Get a first glimpse at Arts Outburst’s 2026 Christmas production — Little Red — coming to the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch and Arts Outburst Studios.
