After a successful first year, Urban Motion is back and is expanding through out Essex to a second venue!

Urban Motion is a youth-led programme for 10–18s who are ready to move, create, and try new things.

From parkour and graffiti to hip hop dance, lyric writing, music production, BMX, DJing, and physical theatre – it’s all about urban street energy, creativity, and expression. And the best part? You’re in charge!

This is more than just a workshop – it’s a crew, a creative outlet and a platform to find your voice, build confidence, and lead the way.

FOUNDED IN 2025

Urban Motion was first created in 2025. The programme started through weekly sessions, holiday drop-ins, open studios, and public takeovers with a focus on co-creation and keeping the programme youth-led.

September 2025 kicked off an 8-week R&D phase where participants got to try out different art forms and help shape what the programme would grow to be. After that, the energy flowed and the project flourished.
