Light Up Thurrock returns for its 5th anniversary celebration, and in 2026 it’s set to be bigger and better than ever before. A series of exciting light-based events will take place across Thurrock, culminating in a spectacular finale at Coalhouse Fort on 20th March 2026.

Get involved in a vibrant programme of activities including lantern making workshops, light graffiti, immersive light installations, parades and light walks, plus much more. Whether you want to create, take part, or simply experience the magic, there’s something for everyone.
