FAQ’s
Q: How long do I need to exhibit for?
A: We recommend exhibiting artwork for 2 weeks, however for larger exhibits we could allow up to 4.
The schedule of exhibits can vary, so we may ask to keep your work a little longer if we have a gap in the diary or feel the artwork is creating a positive vibe around the Get Creative Space.
Q: I don’t think i’m good enough to exhibit professionally yet, can I still apply?
A: Of course! We are happy to support up and coming artists in any way we can, let’s show off your work!
Q: How big does my artwork need to be?
A: Our floor plans are at the bottom of this page, showing the size of each display space. If it fits, then we’ll exhibit it! Big, bright and bold is always a good eye-catcher for the shop window.
Q: Can I advertise to sell my work here?
A: Of course, feel free to leave us a price list and contact details we can give any visitors that are interested in purchasing. We can’t make any sales on-site, but we can definitely send them your way!

We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to join us in the Get Creative Space in Grays Shopping Centre.
You’ll help with arts and crafts activities, chat with visitors, and share information about Arts Outburst and our exciting events.
If you love the arts, enjoy meeting people, or simply have a few spare hours each week, we’d love to welcome you to our team!
A Space To Create!
Calling All Local Artists and Curators!
Are you an artist or curator looking for space to bring your ideas to life? We offer free creative space for local artists to use as a blank canvas – whether you’re working on your next masterpiece, planning a workshop, or curating a pop-up exhibition.
Choose from one of our two versatile spaces to create, design, collaborate, or share your work with the community. The spaces are free to use, but you’ll need to apply in advance.
All work created in the space should either be displayed in the shop for a short period after creation, or shared with the wider community through one of our events, helping you gain exposure and connect with others.
We also offer one of our spaces for other arts-related activities, including meetings, events, rehearsals, and performances.
Let your creativity take over – the space is yours to shape!
Floor plans
Create Space One – Shop Floor Level – Main Shop Space.
Create Space Two – Shop Floor Level – Rear of shop space, easily accessible to the public for workshops, ect.
Create Space Three – 1st Floor, Accessible via stairs, not accessible to the public.
