This May, we’re celebrating creativity in all its forms with a full month of inspiring, hands-on activities for our community to enjoy.

Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time, exploring new digital skills, or simply looking to connect with other creative people, Get Creative Month is all about trying something creative! Throughout the month, we’ll be hosting a range of sessions, workshops, and opportunities designed to spark ideas and build confidence.

The celebrations will culminate in Get Creative in the Park on 30th May at Grays Town Park – a vibrant, free event bringing the community together for a day of creativity, performance, and fun.

Exhibition Opportunity for Local Artists

As part of Get Creative Month, we’re inviting local artists to showcase their work in a special exhibition hosted in the Thameside Theatre Foyer exhibition space throughout May.

This is a fantastic opportunity to share your work with the community, connect with other creatives, and be part of a borough-wide celebration of creativity.

We welcome submissions from artists of all backgrounds and experience levels – whether you’re emerging or established.
