Community arts organisation and charity Arts Outburst is set to launch its new Get Creative Space in Grays Shopping Centre, creating a welcoming hub for local people to discover and take part in creative opportunities across the borough.
The new space will officially launch with a community event from 12pm, bringing together local residents, families and community partners for an afternoon of creativity and connection.
As part of the launch, Arts Outburst will host a Macmillan Coffee Morning, alongside a range of free creative activities for children and families. The Arts Outburst team will also be available throughout the event to introduce visitors to the organisation and share information about the wide range of free creative activities, events and opportunities available locally.
Jen Craft MP will join the event to officially launch the Get Creative Space and mark the opening of this new community resource.
The Get Creative Space has been created as an accessible and welcoming place at the heart of Grays, providing another way for local residents to connect with Arts Outburst and discover opportunities to get involved in arts and creativity.
Arts Outburst is a community arts organisation and charity working to make creative experiences accessible to people across the borough. Through workshops, performances, events and community projects, the organisation provides opportunities for people of different ages and backgrounds to participate in the arts, develop skills, meet others and try something new.
The launch event is free to attend and open to everyone, with families and local residents encouraged to drop in, meet the team and explore the new space.
